Melaleuca Customer Member for $1 until 3/31/11

I have recently joined Melaleuca, which is a Wellness Company that offers everything from Vitamins to Cosmetics and Cleaning Supplies to Candles. The thing that made me decide to join and give it a try was the fact that all of their cleaning products are completely natural and don't even require safety caps. Ever since Makenzee died of lung cancer, I have become a strong believer that he died because of something in our environment. I am a non smoker, so I believe that was either cleaning products that I have used, the water, or something else that caused vapors or fumes to get into his lungs. Since then, I have been more cautious of using store bought products that are full of chemicals and focus more on eco-friendly, pet friendly products. If you are curious about Melaleuca, I urge you to give it a try for 1 month, then purchase the cleaning products that you would like to try and then if you are not happy you can always cancel and still get a full refund or credit. If you are interested, all you need to do is email me and I can get you signed up.

Light The Night Volusia County Walk 2010

This year, I will be walking for the 3rd time in the Light The Night Walk to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. This is a great organization and great event that helps to bring hope to the thousands of people battling blood cancers as well as to commemorate those who have lost the fight. If you or someone you know has been affected by this, please consider donating. Our team is seriously short of our goal, so donations of any amount would be appreciated. Thank you so much!!

Update from SunEGrl

On August 10th, my beloved Makenzee crossed the Rainbow Bridge after being diagnosed with cancer in January. It's taken me awhile to write this, but I knew some of you would be confused when you read the post about the 9 Lives review and my new kitten. Luckily, I had 7 months to deal with the idea of losing him because we were together just him and I for the last 14 years.

***Makenzee***

Since I haven't been without a cat for over 20 years, I decided that I needed to immediately adopt a new kitten. On August 12th, I picked up my 2.25lb kitten from Seminole County Animal Services and named him Sebastian. When I first saw him, I knew I had to adopt him, he had the biggest eyes and would have jumped right into my arms if he hadn't been in the cage. So I brought him home and he was doing great for a few days with the exception of a cold. That cold quickly turned into pneumonia and he had to be hospitalized for a couple of days or he would have died. It's been a rough couple of months, and I still miss Mak every day but I'm so happy that I now have Sebastian. He is the sweetest little thing(except for when he is scratching me) and I take comfort in the fact that had I not adopted him, he surely would have died for the pneumonia.

***Sebastian***

So, as you can see I've had a good reason for being away from my blog. I promise, I am going to try to update more often from now on.

9 Lives Advanced Nutrient System

I'm a big believer in feeding my cat the right food and not feeding them table scraps. I think a healthy cat is a happy cat, so when I received a huge box of the Advanced Nutrient System cat food and all kinds of kitty toys for my new kitten, I was excited. All of the items were sent to me by 9 Lives through MyBlogSpark. When I first found out that I was going to be getting the food and prize, I was a little worried about feeding a 2 month old kitten adult food, but the 9 Lives Advanced Nutrient System was for cats of all ages. My little Sebastian took right to it when I put it in the bowl, which is good because he's kind of a finicky eater. Plus, the toys that they sent him were awesome. One of the toys was a little blue mouse on a rubbery string that squeaks when he plays with it.

For those of you with cats, I invite you to check out the 9Lives website and tell me what nutrition needs concern you when it comes to your cat. For me, it was Strong Muscle Growth and Healthy Digestion. Hurry, this contest will end Monday August 11th at noon and I will randomly choose a winner.

Romano's Macaroni Grill frozen entrees

I love Italian Food but quite honestly I'm not very good at preparing it at home, so when I found out that Romano's Macaroni Grill now has frozen entrees I was ecstatic. Through MyBlogSpark.com, Romano's Macaroni Grill sent me a delicious Grilled Chicken Florentine along with a prize pack including a beautiful glass serving dish and tongs. The pasta dish was awesome, so quick to prepare and so good that my staff ended up stealing it from me. I had the Grilled Chicken Florentine, with grilled white meat chicken and spinach, along with farfalle pasta tossed in a delicious creamy parmesan cheese and garlic sauce. They also offer a Basil Parmesan Chicken, Roasted Garlic Shrimp Scampi and Spicy Italian Sausage Pomodoro. I had actually never been to Romano's Macaroni Grill before, but the frozen stuff was so good that I decided I had to try the restaurant. Yummy!!

If you would like to receive a Free Romano's Macaroni Grill frozen entree and prize pack for yourself, just tell me which one you would like to try and why. I will randomly choose a winner on Monday, October 11th at noon. Then Romano's Macaroni Grill will send out your prize pack through MyBlogSpark.
