HTC One X – Among the best Android smartphones you can get

HTC One X – Among the best Android smartphones you can get

Officially unveiled back in February at the Mobile World Congress 2012 trade fair in Barcelona, the One X is HTC’s new Android flagship smartphone. This is one of the few devices that can challenge Samsung’s Galaxy S III top-tier phone. It comes with a slightly smaller 4.7-inch Super IPS LCD2 capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating. When it comes to hardware, the HTC One X offers users a 1.5 GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, though the North American variant is equipped with Qualcomm’s 1.5 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 CPU, as well as LTE support. The phone packs a whopping 32GB of internal memory (26GB user available), but lacks microSD card slot for memory expansion. Last but not least, the One X boasts an impressive 8-megapixel rear camera, which features HTC’s ImageSense technology, along with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.

Samsung Galaxy S III – One smartphone to rule them all!

Samsung Galaxy S III – One smartphone to rule them all!

The third generation Galaxy S smartphone comes in different versions in order to meet everyone’s needs. Samsung’s new Android flagship handset, the Galaxy S III may be equipped with either a 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos processor or a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 CPU. However, Samsung’s Exynos chipset does not feature LTE support, while Qualcomm’s S4 SoC offers 4G speeds. Furthermore, the European version of the Galaxy S III packs only 1GB of RAM, while the North American variant boasts 2GB of RAM. Some may say that phone’s larger 4.8-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display is the only downside of the Galaxy S III given its PenTile Matrix nature. It supports HD resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 2 coating for extra protection. Software-wise, Samsung Galaxy S III is powered by Google’s latest Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, but also comes pre-loaded with various innovative apps and services, such as S Beam, S Voice, Music Hub, Direct Call and other.
