Nokia Lumia 800 - The first true Windows Phone device

Nokia Lumia 800 - The first true Windows Phone device

Nokia Lumia 800 has the same form factor and design as the MeeGo-based Nokia N9 smartphone. It is powered by a single core 1.4 Ghz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor and runs Microsoft's Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. Furthermore, the smartphone lacks a microSD card slot for memory expansion, but offers 16GB of internal memory and 25GB of free SkyDrive storage for storing images and music. It has a 3.7-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen based on Nokia's ClearBlack technology. The 8-megapixel camera is among the strong points of the phone. It features Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, dual-LED flash and HD (720p) video recording capabilities. Nokia Lumia 800 will be available for a suggested retail price of 420 EUR ($585) in the UK, Spain, France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands, beginning November. It is also expected to arrive in Hong Kong, India, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan toward the end of the year, while China and North America will get it in early 2012.

Motorola RAZR – The thinnest LTE-enabled smartphone

Motorola RAZR – The thinnest LTE-enabled smartphone

Motorola's RAZR series has just been refreshed with an Android superphone, namely the Motorola RAZR. Just like its clamshell predecessor, the new Motorola RAZR amazes through its impossibly thin form factor and appealing curves. While the device measures 130.7 x 68.9, it's only 7.1mm thick and weighs 127g (battery included), which makes it world's thinnest LTE-capable smartphone. Motorola RAZR is built to last and sports KEVLAR fiber and Corning Gorilla Glass to prevent users from accidentally scratch or scrap the device.Furthermore, the superphone comes with a brilliant 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors support and 540 x 960 pixels resolution. The phone is equipped with an impressive dual-core 1.2 GHz TI OMAP 4430 processor and 1GB of RAM for a more immersive gaming experience.Although, the smartphone is delivered with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, Motorola already confirmed that the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade will be deployed in early 2012.
