If you haven’t heard of blurb.com, you should check it out. It’s a website where you can self-publish your own book, whether it’s a wedding album, a baby book, a family photo album, or an informational book on topics that you are passionate or knowledgeable in. You could also publish a portfolio that showcases your own business.
The process is fairly simple. They offer free software for creating your book. Download the software and select the type of book you’d like to make. Add photos, text, stories … whatever you want and your book is done. You can have it printed in a variety of sizes and with soft cover or hardcover. There are many different categories to choose from. The University of California Berkeley has uploaded videos of course lectures on to YouTube, which includes 300 hrs of course material in Chemistry, Physics and Non-Violence, with more to come.
