    HIGHLIGHTS:

HTC Legend comes with an enhanced HTC Sense experience

Announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona (15-18 February), the new HTC Legend comes with a unique design, the handset vendor notes, stating that it sports a “continuous surface, machined from a single aluminum block into a seamless compact frame.” The main feature of the device is the enhanced HTC Sense experience. A new HTC application and widget has been packed in the handsets, called HTC Friend Stream, which is meant to aggregate all social communication, including Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr, in a single view. HTC Legend features a 3.2-inch AMOLED HVGA touchscreen display, as well as an optical joystick, which is surrounded by a narrow button meant to enhance its functionality even more. The HTC Legend will become available for purchase in Europe via Vodafone in April, and should hit direct channels in April, while being expected to land on the market in Asia in early Q2.

Toshiba TG01 has a twin brother - TG02 includes the same features

Computer maker Toshiba unveiled at the Mobile World Congress the new TG02, which comes with the super-slim form factor the Toshiba TG01 Windows phone included. The phone includes a 4.1-inch VGA capacitive touchscreen, while being only 9.9mm slim, though it is capable of providing users with a rich experience. The newly designed and highly-intuitive 3D menu system on the TG02 makes it easy for users to browse through the handset and access a range of entertainment features. The youngest TG01 brother features the latest Windows Mobile 6.5 platform, which enables TG02 to enhance the user experience with its quick and easy operation. The internal Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1 GHz processor also makes the TG02 an ideal device for Internet browsing, enabling users to quickly access and load websites or stream content. The new Pocket PC is expected to be launched on the market sometime this year, but a specific date hasn't been disclosed yet.
