Guake is a drop-down terminal for the GNOME desktop.

Have you even been need to use a console terminal, but think that switch windows is not too smart for you?

I think the needing is the mother of invention. Since i use GNOME i wish some applications for GTK that are already in KDE, but i prefer GTK interface, so... why not create my own drop-down terminal?

The Guake follows the same line of Yakuake and Tilda, but im trying to fuse the better of them in one.

Guake have its source code not based in any other, i was written the base of guake from zero.

Finally, i think that GNU spirit is perfect, so here is the "my recipe of cake" to share with everybody.
