HIGHLIGHTS

Sony Ericsson W350 - low budget Walkman series flipper
The low-end Walkman phone, Sony Ericsson W350 targets those SE fans with low budget. It's the first Sony Ericsson flip phone that allows users to control music with only a touch of their fingertips. It weighs only 80 grams and measures 43x104x11mm.

The W350's Walkman player can easily be accessed and operated even without opening its flip cover. With Walkman on Top, key MP3 functions are outside the phone’s flip cover so you can use it just like you would a standalone MP3 player. Besides 14 MB of internal memory, W350 handset comes with 512 MB memory stick (M2) included in the sales package.

The tri-band handset will be available in selected markets starting from Q2 2008.

Samsung F490 - iPhone-ish look
Samsung F490 comes to lure users with its elegant look, resembling Samsung F700. The handset packs a 3.2 inch 262K color full-touch display with haptic feedback and has no physical keypad, hence it's fully controlled through the touchscreen interface which is based on the award-winning Croix UI.

F490 weighs only 102 grams, measures 115x53.5x11.8 mm and it's a tri-band GSM with UMTS 2100 and HSDPA connectivity. The 5MP camera with video recording provides good picture quality, as well as the front camera for video calls. The phone also features built-in mobile Google apps, GPRS, Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0 and microSD card support.

It will be available in Europe from February at a retail price of about $780.
