HIGHLIGHTS

Sony Ericsson W760 - the first GPS-enabled Walkman handset
The new Sony Ericsson W760 is the first global Walkman phone with tri-band HSDPA, enabling broadband speed downloads of the latest music and content wherever in the world it is used. The phone is one of the first Walkman series handset featuring built-in GPS to help users find their way.

It features 40MB internal memory, but also 1GB memory stick (M2) included in the sales package. The slider also packs fresh technologies such as: SensMe, Shake Control and Motion Sensor Gaming. There's also a high quality 3.2 megapixel camera on the phone.

The W760 will be available in selected markets from Q2 2008. Unfortunately, there's no information regarding its price yet.

Philips 692 - mid-end touchscreen slider
Philips 692 is a mid-end, dual-band GSM device that works on the 900 and 1800 MHz frequencies. It packs a 2.4 inches TFT 256K colors touchscreen with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, capable of handwriting recognition, in both English and Chinese.

The handset packs a 1.3 Megapixel CMOS camera, failing to provide high quality photos, but enough to capture fun moments when you don't have a good camera around. The slider boasts 11 MB on-board memory, but users will be able to expand storage space through a microSD card slot up to 2 GB.

There's no info about its price, but the slider should be commercially available until the end of January 2008.
