About a year ago, we released LQ Bookmarks, a site for Social Bookmarking, tagging and annotating all things Linux and Open Source. I am happy to announce that we have re-released an all new version of the site at http://www.linuxquestions.org/bookmarks/. LinuxQuestions.org is proud to announce the addition of the "LQ Job Marketplace", which will allow employers to post available positions for Linux, Open Source and programming related jobs. The LQ Job Marketplace will allow postings for full-time, part-time, permanent, temporary and contract positions.

As I just posted on my blog, LQ ISO recently hit 2,000,000 downloads (and a very short time later is already well over 2,100,000 - which is a good indicator of the growth rate it's currently seeing). A couple days late on this, but it was six years ago that I made my first post here at LQ, introducing the site to the world. We've come a long way in six years: 2,311,325 posts, 254,019 registered members, participation from over 25 distributions and a small network of sites that I think serve the community well.
