This book was wonderful! It contained all the info and tips to get me pointed in the right direction. I was small time Photoshop user around version 4 but hadn't had to use the 5.x series until my recent move to webmaster at my company.
This book concisely covered all topics I was looking for [using photoshop for the web, and getting familiar with the photoshop interface].
The only thing I would have suggested to make this book even better would have been a CD with sample images and the end results as described in the book. It would have enabled the enduser not familiar with graphic design to get a more visual handle on what the image manipulation commands he/she is performing are for.
Great book though! Another good O'Reilly purchase!

It's all here in fantastic detaileI like that the color section gives extensive shots of "if you do this-you get this" this book does a superb job at what it was intended to do-use Photoshop for Web work.
